Shriners Hospitals for Children treats children up to age 18. Eligibility is based on medical need, if there is a reasonable chance a child will benefit from the hospital’s specialized services. The children treated there can have orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. Treatment includes outpatient care at all locations and inpatient admissions at some locations. Children receive treatment from doctors recognized as the best by their peers. They also receive care in a family-centered environment.
Acceptance to Shriners Hospitals for Children is based solely on the child’s medical needs. Regardless of the family’s ability to pay, children receive all services. To make an appointment, contact your local Shriners Children’s location.
