Shriners Hospital for children
Shriners Hospitals for Children treats children up to age 18. Children are eligible for care if they have a medical need and there’s a reasonable chance they’ll benefit from the hospital’s specialized services. Eligibility: Children with orthopedic conditions, Children with burns, Children with spinal cord injuries, and Children with cleft lip and palate. Treatment: Shriners Hospitals for Children offers outpatient care at all locations and inpatient admissions at some locations Children receive treatment from doctors who are recognized as the best by their peers Children receive care in a family-centered environment Acceptance: Acceptance to Shriners Hospitals for Children is based solely on a child’s medical needs Children

MERCY SHIPS
Mercy Ships is an international charity based non-governmental organization[1] that operates the largest non-governmental hospital ships in the world,[2] providing surgical care and surgical education in Africa, community development projects, community health education, mental health programs, agriculture projects, and palliative care for terminally ill patients. Its headquarters are in Garden Valley, Texas. Mercy Ships has visited several countries with a focus on the countries of Africa for the past 30 years.[3][non-primary source needed] The organization operates a two-ship fleet consisting of the Global Mercy and the Africa Mercy.

OPERATION SMILE
Operation Smile is a nonprofit medical service organization founded in 1982 by husband and wife William P. Magee Jr. and Kathleen (Kathy) S. Magee. It is headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition to providing cleft lip and palate repair surgeries to children worldwide, Operation Smile works as a non-governmental organization to reduce the occurrence of cleft lips and palates worldwide. Operation Smile has provided over 350,000 surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities in over 60 countries since 1982, at no cost to the recipients.[1] As of 2022, Operation Smile provided on-going care around the world at 38 smile centers.[2]
